Watch :: The LaFontaines release lyric video to new cut Too Late

Words: Sam Geary

Glasgow quartet The LaFontaines follow 'Asleep' and 'Common Problem' with new number 'Too Late', taken from the album 'Common Problem', out this Friday (October 27) via A Wolf At Your Door Records.

Vocalist Kerr Okan says of ‘Too Late’ that lyrically "[it] is one of the more personal tracks on the album. Although it has the appearance of a big rock record, it’s actually a pretty dark song. This wasn’t really an intentional move – we didn’t try and be clever or try to disguise it in any way. It’s just a really honest record hidden under a huge chorus.

"‘Common Problem’ is a much darker record than our debut release. We’re not as young and naive as we were in our early twenties. We’ve been around the world as a band, seen a lot of things and discovered our one big Common Problem… There is a lot of angst, truth and reality held within this album."

Check out the lyric video to the song, below, and then catch live on their upcoming shows.
