Track Of The Day :: Paris Youth Foundation - London

Words: Ellie Ward

After impressing Little Indie at The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City this year, Paris Youth Foundation now add to their repertoire after 'Lost Cause’ and ‘Missing The Mark’, with new single ‘London’.

Released last Friday (December 1), ‘London’ is four minutes of capital indie pop, soaring on Kevin Potter's entrancing vocal delivery with a veritable feast of hooky guitar riffs and bouncy rhythms that propel the song along.

"'London’ is a song that means an awful lot to me," says frontman Kevin. "It’s the story of a long-distance breakup and is probably as personal as I’ve ever been. It’s a song that wears its heart on its sleeve. The song was built around the line ‘Does London love you as much as I do’. That line is the reason this song exists.”

Paris Youth Foundation play the Buyers Club in Liverpool on December 16.
