"Nothing you can say is gonna change my mind," was the phrase of the day after hearing this new single from GLOO - a Little Indie One To Watch 2018 - released today (January 12) via their own DIY label Dropping Bags Records.
The opening line to 'Hit It' was enough to hit our mosh pit-ready buttons. The Littlehampton, Sussex trio dip their toes into more roaring riffs and frenzied decibels as a follow up to ‘Force You’ of last year.
Commenting on the new single, the band said: “This track was written about not wanting to have your life shaped by the ideas or advice given to you by your parents, rather making your own choices, even if they turn out to be shit. The fuck ups are the fun bit, so let us fuck up, basically.”
