We knew them once as Get Inuit, but the newly re-monikered Kentish band Indoor Pets still have as much a way with a good tune as they did previously on the likes of ‘All My Friends’ and 'Teriyaki’.
The self-produced sub-three minute ‘So Soon’ is the first release under their Indoor Pets name, and is a noisy, raucous, filled with energy, fuzzy hooks and soaring pop sensibilities first class blaster.
“‘So Soon’ is quite different to any other Indoor Pets song,” says frontman Jamie Glass. “I wanted to just write a love song, and ignore the voices in my head that say that all signs of positivity need to be taken with a pinch of salt. I always avoided writing love songs because it felt forced and slightly unobtainable. ‘So Soon’ demonstrates that even the most cynical can fall in love. Hard too. And it caught me out, big time”.
