VALE - FIRE
Twinkly synth and beats debut single from the East Midlands indie pop duo - Will Bond (vocals, piano, synths, guitar) and Olly Walton (drums, synths) - released last month.
PALMA LOUCA - DISPARITY
Another debut, this time from this Newcastle-based indie rock quintet. Fuzz mixed with alt-rockgaze and stand out vocals.
JUNKY LOVE - HOOKED
London rock n roll trio formed by Axel Loughrey and Deniz Erdal, up the ante with this guitar-driven debut based lyrically on a true story about an online catfish that targeted both well know and unknown musicians online.
HOLY MOTORS - I WILL TRY
Second single from the Estonian five-piece's Carson Cox (Merchandise)-produced album 'Slow Sundown', out February 9 thugh Wharf Cat. Brooding, mesmeric and dreamlike, helmed by Eliann Tulve's hypnotic voice.
ONLY SHADOWS - STAY CLOSE TO ME
Following 'Fight Milk' and 'Escape', this new stadium-size single is the third with Scottish producer Bruce Rintoul. The song has a particularly strong place in the band's heart, as singer Nick Ashby says "it's a song about finding the light in the dark. It's close to home, but you know we mean it."
I FEEL FINE - EVERYDAY SAFARI
The Brighton-based four-piece recently signed to independent London label Failure By Design, and before the release their first EP ‘Long Distance Celebration', there's this post-punk-noise debut taster which came out last week.
JAKE HART - END DAYS
Latest self-produced, soulful, R&B tinged release from the South London singer-songwriter. There's a sonic upbeat quality to his work, which stems back to 2014's debut single 'Awake'.
DRYSPELL - CAN'T WAIT
Austin alt-rockers follow the recent 'You Without Me', taken from their upcoming second EP 'More', out March 1 via Highland Park Records, with this laid-back, melancholic track which dropped last week.
MT. DOUBT - CONDUITS
The Edinburgh folk-rock outfit lend breezy harmonies against Leo Bargery’s warm baritone in this dark-pop release, taken from their 'Moon Landings' EP, out now via Scottish Fiction Records.
LAZY DAY - WEIRD COOL
Officially out on March 9 via Art Is Hard Records, the quartet follow their 'Ribbons' EP, with this latest track on which frontwoman Tilly Scantlebury once again brings her rich alto timbre, aided by some lush guitar work.
