Swedish shoe/dream-gaze three-piece Echo Ladies released their self-titled debut EP via Sonic Cathedral on March 23.
The Malmö three - Matilda Bogren, Mattis Andersson and Joar Andersén - are three schoolfriends who became Echo Ladies in 2014, partly inspired by the name of the drum machine from another favourite band, Echo & The Bunnymen.
Their biggest inspirations are effects pedals and “the feeling of nostalgia and hope for the future mixed with angst over defining who you are and what you will become”.
