CASTLE BLACK - BROKEN BRIGHT STAR

Lead singer/guitarist Leigh Celent's powerful vocals snarl the melody with a Courtney Love level of confidence.
COAT CHECK GIRL - TWENTY NINE
A departure from the band's usual dark, indie-electro sound for the LA-based quartet, with this latest, released April 27. "My cousin abruptly died last year, he was 29, and that obviously affected my family and I," says vocalist Andre Rodriguez. "After months of grieving I just kept on thinking that he was always gonna be 29, he was never gonna have kids, see them grow, etc etc. He was stuck at 29."
HOO HA'S - RANTRA
The return of the London quartet with their fourth single - and first in two years. This swaggering indie stomper, out May 4, is described by vocalist Jamie as, "a spewing out of emotion. An argument in real-time. The fight before the fuck. San Diego through drunk glasses. The arrogance of the artist. Swells of noise coming like waves of adrenaline. You know, the usual stuff..."
KID BLOOM - PARENTS HOUSE
Back to Los Angeles for some funky pop rock on this track from the band's forthcoming EP 'Lemonhead', set for release later this year. The single fuses elements of retro 70s groove with engaging, contemporary pop sensibilities.
LOWLY - WOOD

SUNDAY - ALL OF THE TIME
Melbourne's ex-Miami Horror guitarist/vocalist Aaron Shanahan, now based in Berlin, unveils new dreamy electronic project with this first official single of washed-out psych rhythms and hypnotic vocals. "'All Of The Time' is about hope and lose in a relationship...it explores my experiences with wanting something to work and be as you have projected. Sometimes you can be more in love with an 'idea' of someone or something more than what actually is."
WHITE CHINA - SHAKE
Released April 23, one of the "darker songs" from the LA-based trio's debut LP, 'I', out in June, according to frontman Gianluca Buccellati, who provides the seductive vocal over a motorik beat and snaking synth line. "This was one of the first songs written for the project and was a defining moment in finding the sound for the band."
SWIMM - EASY WAY OUT
Ahead of debut album 'Sentimental Porno', out June 6, the former LA psych pop duo, Chris Hess and Adam Winn, now pitch up a four-piece for this infectious new track, following 'Kim K'. Dreamy harmonies and woozy vocals combine with hazy guitars.
KEIR - SADBOY
Bristol singer songwriter's new single follows on from debut tracks ‘Squeeze Me’ and ‘Night and Day’, and takes a poppier slant, but still with the grit and determination his earlier tracks afforded. Catch at Live at Leeds on May 5 and Liverpool Sound City on May 6.
OFF BLOOM - LOVE ACTUALLY
Following last year's 'Lover Like Me' EP, and single 'Falcon Eye', the electro-pop Anglo-Danish three-piece unveil blissful new single, about "being so in love it’s almost unhealthy, but you can’t help yourself from falling!
