February's debut
'Smoker' was right on the noise-maker money, but with follow up single 'Monkey Business', released on April 5, Auckland's post-punks Glove have just taken it one step beyond.
The trio fill an intense four minutes-plus of pounding drums, unrelenting, mind-numbing guitars, and by now the familiar, urgent vocals of main man David Provan. This continues for just under three minutes, until 'Monkey Business' takes an unexpected diversion on post-rock instrumental close.
