Madge - no, not the Madonna one - but Los Angeles-based, one-woman DIY-pop project Madge, unveils her new self-produced single 'How To Play'.

Delving into Celtic mythology, the legacy of her Mormon upbringing in Utah, contemporary spirituality and a 2018 take on pop sounds, Madge is the power-punching artist whose songs offer a pop vision that is singular, and incontrovertibly her own.

'How To Play' is both quirky and infectious, as it is unique in combining off-kilter electronica with Madge's own distinct vocal acrobatics.

“A lot of my songs are dark and metaphoric - a characteristic that I’m proud of and my go-to approach when I’m cooking lyrics," she says. "This time around I wanted to make something simple, repetitive, and literal. 'How To Play' is the Cliff’s Notes version of Madge. It’s also a self-affirmation of what I can do and what I’m here to do.”
