Larkins are back with early New Year promise as they drop new track ‘Flood’. It is the third cut from their upcoming second EP ‘Hit & Run’, which arrives on February 14 via Good Soldier Records.
Produced by the band’s regular collaborator Dan Nigro (Sky Ferreira, Finneas), 'Flood' follows the earlier release of the EP’s tracks ‘Make You Better’ and ‘Pieces’.
From the lush opening, the track mixes the band's trademark sound of vibrant synths, 80s-tinged percussion and Josh Noble's resplendent voice, it provides an uplifting vehicle for the lyrics: "We never wanted to play it safe / We are the youth of the modern age".
A great start to 2020.
