Toronto punk rockers Death From Above - Sebastien Grainger and Jesse Keeler - premiered their new single 'Freeze Me' today (June 6) as it was unveiled on BBC Radio 1 as Mistajam’s Hottest Record In The World.
The single - which sees its release on Friday - marks not just their first new material since their 2014 studio album 'The Physical World', but from now on they will once again be known as simply Death From Above - without the previous '1979' (although their social media will retain '1979'), a suffix they were forced to add after receiving a cease and desist from James Murphy’s Death From Above (DFA) Records.
