** PREMIERE ** The Caress - A Picture By The Thames In Winter
Words: Ellie Ward
After last year's debut single, 'Why Don't We Take A Walk By The Sea' - a Little Indie Track Of The Day - and last December's 'Animal Passion', south London brothers The Caress - Ben, Tom and Sam Easton - now return with their third track.
Digitally self-released today (June 9), Little Indie brings you the premiere of 'A Picture By The Thames In Winter'.
A slower, more dreamy number than their previous offerings with, says the band's Ben Easton, "nods to the likes of Roy Orbison or The Righteous Brothers", 'A Picture By The Thames In Winter' is a romantic number, meandering in and out in a waltz tempo, with lyrics depicting a couple walking along the Thames.
"The original idea was conceived whilst sitting on South Bank, and watching couples take pictures of each other on their smartphones," explains Ben.
Catch The Caress live tonight at The Old Blue Last, London (free entry).
