This simply delicious debut from Brisbane artist Emerson Leif, collaborating with fellow Brissy producer Golden Vessel, was set to be included in our weekly tracks from Down Under round-up, but the more we listened to it, the more it impressed us.
The pair previously worked together on Golden Vessel’s Right / Side single 'Tell The Girl', but 'Hesitate' marks Leif's first headline offering.
“Tell me that your love is a sure thing”, croons Leif, but that's not the only sure thing about this melter. Right from the off with its opening beeps and synths, it radiates an enveloping sonic warmth through its both organic and electronic instrumentation that takes the genre out of its often more sterile, detached field.
