Released August 3 via Infinite Jest Records, ‘I Want You Around’ is the new single from electro-punk trio Oh800.
Eoin Rooney (vocals), Gavin Ellis (bass, synth) and Olly Betts (drums) are set to drop their debut album 'Character Building' on October 12, and the close to five minutes dance punk of ‘I Want You Around’ is an example of what to expect.
The humming, guitar-driven number is filled with hyonotict basslines, motorik drums and channels the band’s post-punk influences, whilst allowing their modern day frustrations to flow into its sardonic lyricism and infectious glitchy electronica.
