Bristol's alt-grunge outfit No Violet hit next week with their debut EP 'Faces', and in between the release on September 14, and their previous single ‘Be My Friend’, they have snuck in another track from the record, ‘She Goes Her Own Way’.
Ellie Godwin's enticing voice opens the song and if they doesn't keep you gripped by her way of hovering on the borders of explosion and quietude, the 60s-esque guitars and instrumental passages certainly will, as ‘She Goes Her Own Way’ winds its own way through a raft of intriguing chord changes throughout.
Live dates
