NZ's Daffodils bloom on 'A Leo Underwater'

Words: Sam Geary

Released last week, 'A Leo Underwater' is the new single from Auckland, New Zealand quartet Daffodils.

"'A Leo Underwater' is about being disconnected," explains frontman Theo Spike Salmon. "The feeling of drifting away from the things that are important to you. It’s about the end of summer, and the way things change.”

With their 80s synthpop edge coupled with guitar-driven woozy indie pop-rock, they create a stunning wall of sound.

Catch them live at The Vault in Auckland on October 27. For more info, see Facebook
