'Breathe Some' is the indie synth-pop debut single, released November 16, by new Los Angeles-based five-piece (three of whom are brothers: Milosh Petko, 22, Mihailo Lukic, 19, and Topli Petko, 18, with Connor Bond and Felipe Rodriguez) PRETTY.
Combining new wave and 80s influences, they deliver a dreamy guitar riff and rich melody sound here that will do them no harm as the first taste of an EP set for early next year.
'Breathe Some', says Milosh, is a song "for anyone who’s spent even a moment in darkness and been blessed by a hand extended in love," inspired by words said to him by brother Topli during a particularly bleak period, to "breathe some life into your crown".
