Watch :: American Football - Silhouettes

American Football have released a new video for 'Silhouettes', the first single from their forthcoming album 'American Football (LP3)', out March 22 via Big Scary Monsters.

Directed by Shawn Brackbill, the clip features the real-life couple of Cale Parks (from the band Aloha) and his partner Kendra Smalter.

"Working on the 'Silhouettes' video was an interesting collaboration between the artist and director,” says Brackbill. “I prefer to work on a treatment with a band but this one came from Mike [Kinsella, from the band] fairly well-formed. It was great to help develop the concept and bring this idea to life. In putting together the final treatment and shot list, I tried to keep the story open-ended as well. To allow the viewer space to make their own interpretations for what they see here in the video."
