Gently Tender give ‘Some Hard Advice’ on visuals

Gently Tender - the band formed by Palma Violets members Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle, plus The Big Moon’s Celia Archer - have dropped their self-directed video for their second single, 'Some Hard Advice’, released in January.

Coming after their entrance last year with ‘2 Chords Good’ and B-side ‘Avez-Vous Déjà’.

“This is the first video we have directed ourselves and it was created with the invaluable help of some very close friends of ours,” says Fryer. “We felt that a simple performance video was right for this song as we didn’t want to distract too much from the song itself. We wanted the soul of the song to come across, uncomplicated by over performance or over editing.”

Catch Gently Tender live at London's Oslo on March 6.
