Hailing from Melbourne, Australia Amyl and the Sniffers look set to continue the impression they made on the UK last year with the announcement that their debut album is set to arrive on May 24 thru Rough Trade (UK/Europe), ATO (North America) and Flightless Records (Australia & New Zealand).
Prior to which, check out 'Monsoon Rock.
“'Monsoon Rock' is just a song to rage to and celebrating good gigs/live music, " say the Sniffers. "We wrote it around the time of Gizzfest 2017 when it was pissing down with rain but everybody still got into it, just muddier and wetter and real feral. We ran out of time to make a video and it’s always fun making funny shit, if you don’t have a sense of humour and can’t laugh what’s the point of being alive?”
Amyl and The Sniffers play SXSW next week and then have a headline US West Coast tour, before playing shows across the UK and Europe including Heaven, London on April 2.
