Wellington's lo-fi, psych-pop Beatcomber have unveiled their first release since 2016's 'Sick Breeze' with 'Melancauli', a four-minute 60s-esque guitar-pop gem, commanded by keyboardist Sophie Scott-Maunder's standout voice.
The track, released earlier this month, is taken from the New Zealanders' forthcoming 'Creature Comforts' EP, which was recorded by the group's guitarist Trent Williams, and appears to be their first new material in some time. But some things are worth the wait.
