G Flip, aka Melbourne-based singer, drummer, producer and singer Georgia Flipo, takes a self-empowerment stand on her new single 'I Am Not Afraid'.
Co-produced with Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, HAIM, Blood Orange) in LA, 'I Am Not Afraid' follows her debut EP 'Drink Too Much', which was released in January.
"Everyone has roadblocks in life, tough situations that are hard to get through and the only way to overcome them are to say 'I Am Not Afraid'," expounds Georgia. "Whether it’s getting out of a toxic relationship, coming out to your family or getting bullied. Life throws shit at you and you have to be brave. You have to stand tall and rise above it."
G Flip heads to the UK and EU next month,before returning in August to perform at Electric Picnic and Reading & Leeds Festival. See dates below.
