New Zealand, already equalling its renown for fine wines, tasty lamb and creamy butter with its outpouring of fine musical talent, come up with another winner by way of Auckland duo, bb gurl.
The two-piece - Che Ebrahim and Yery Cho (also one half of Imugi 이무기) - combine as one to drop their debut release, 'Blonde'. Velvet smooth vocals rest on understated beats and synths that swirl together in a soulful, R&B fusion.
