After debut single
'Headlights' and follow-up
'Lust' last year, electro-grunge duo The Bambi Kills, now explore serene pop formalities with 'Sweet Love'.
Stripping back their sound, 'Sweet Love' sees the Melbourne sisters, Elly Velinsky and Vanessa Morfea, present their most upbeat work to date. Twisting together haunting harmonies with ominous acoustic tones, the compelling pop-driven melody matches the optimistic narrative.
"It’s about that feeling of happiness, euphoria that overcomes you, even for a split a second for whatever reason," singer Elly relates.
The Bambi Kills play a four-date residency at The Tote in Melbourne on June 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.
