Wafted into our ears, not from Paradise, but rather less exotic Brighton, alt-rockers ISLA follow last autumn's debut EP, and more recent single ‘The Verve’, with the release of this latest single 'Peace / Piece'.
Out now, the soaring and atmospheric number really does aim for the rafters, and you can only hope the band get to air it somewhere like a church with prime acoustics, or a festival stage.
Formed early last year (after meeting at university), the three-piece - Ed Brown (lead vocals, guitar), Andy Adams (bass) and Alex Woodward (drums) - site a wide range of influences, from Queens of the Stone Age, to Foals and Nothing But Thieves.
You can catch ISLA live on June 19 when they play a single release show at The Hope & Ruin, Brighton.
