Described as a 'coming-of-age tale', singer-songwriter Jane Holiday builds up to the release of a debut EP with the offering of this new track, 'Poster Boy'.
Released yedterday (June 18), the piano driven, lo-fi style is complemented effectively by an unsual vocal that encompasses a soul heart with a R&B/pop cross.
"'Poster Boy' is probably the most self reflective song I’ve ever written," says the Hollywood-bases artist. "It was written around the holidays when people from all over the world gather back together and share stories of their new lives, new home, new work etc.
"During some moments of reflection, I felt like I’m kind of doing things similarly than I did in the past. There’s something really romantic and nostalgic about that feeling, but there’s also something really sad."
