When Little Indie featured The Vacant last year on our Roundtable with 'Touching Down', they were described then as 'atmospheric' and 'epic'. Good to see then that the Bath-based band have lost none of either on new single 'Technicolour'.
They appear to have added a couple of members from the trio of last year, and it hasn't diluted their sound at all; even more surprising perhaps, is that everything is produced and recorded in guitar/synth player Ben Brown's bedroom.
'Technicolour' - released today (June 4) - and also accompanied by the video, below, which was shot in their home city, is lyrically thoughtful and gradually opens out to a flowing cascade of instrumentation and beautifully constructed melodies.
