Fresh from a six-date tour across Russia as part of a cultural programme with the British Embassy, West Midlands' four-piece The Assist return home to deliver new single 'It's Just A Dream Away'.
Released last Friday, the track is an infectious, mid-paced work where singer Mikey Stanton drops his vocals (
“For the first time in my life, I know the score. Forget all those highlights if you want more,”) over the propulsive and rhythmic bassline, to make for a summer-stage anthem.
You can catch The Assist on July 19 when they headline the Smirnoff Stage at Tramlines Festival Fringe in Sheffield.
