'Nothing' inside Honey Lung's heads sounds remarkably good

Out now, the new single from London alt-rockers Honey Lung, 'Nothing'.

Written at frontman Jamie Batten’s house, listening to psych icons The Jesus and Mary Chain, "'Nothing', they say, "has been the closest we have come to creating the sound in our heads."

And what's in their heads seems to be close to four minutes of intense energy, channelling influences of Car Seat Headrest, Elliott Smith and The Brian Jonestown Massacre through a sonic wall of guitars, driving bass and a brief smattering of xylophone that reverberate around Batten's subdued vocal, leaving it to be something that is as much melodious and engaging, as it is blunt and discordant.
