Sydney band PLANET share their riff-filled new single, 'Reason Why'.
The self-produced track sees the quartet take on their usual big choruses, but this time building on a fierce, more dominant sound, while still delivering Matty Took's distinctive vocal edge within its indie-pop flow.
"I wrote 'Reason Why' about five years ago," says frontman Took. "Lyrically, it’s all about uncertainty, imbalance, mental confusion and being uninspired. Melodically, it is dreamy and flowing, which counteracts with the duelling riff that smacks you in the face."
