Released earlier this month, Leeds trio The Calls' new single, 'A Change Is Gonna Come Around Here', follows in a similar vein to Tame Impala with a warped, psychedelic refrain.
Lyrically drawing on the frustration of the growing dystopia around us, the live favourite brings together a combination of trip hop, dub and psychedelia, with frontman Tom Fuller smoothly rendering enticing vocal hooks over the psych-rock six minutes.
The Calls play The Backroom, Leeds on October 30.
