DMA'S, Easy Life + Pale Waves head up first Live at Leeds announcement
Live At Leeds returns in 2020 to the city's venues with an impressive line-up combining some of the most exciting names in modern music and the hottest breakthrough bands on the UK music scene.
First round of names for next year's festival are headed by Oz indies DMA’s. Since forming in Sydney in 2012, they’ve garnered critical acclaim in the UK for both of their previously released albums. They are joined by Pale Waves, Easy Life, Ezra Furman, Bad Sounds, Marika Hackman, Self Esteem, Charlatans frontman and indie legend Tim Burgess and UK psych-rock band Temples.
Live at Leeds is well known for giving new artists their first show in the city before they go on to conquer the world and 2020 welcomes a new crop of exciting artists arriving in Leeds for shows early in their careers. These include Aussie fuzz-pop duo Hockey Dad, Norwegian punk art rockers Pom Poko, FEET, Low Hummer and alt-synth act W. H. Lung.
Little Indie favourites, Glaswegian art-rockers Walt Disco, Stereo Honey, Working Men's Club are also on the bill for Live at Leeds, which takes place across various city venues on Saturday, May 2.
