FEET are celebrating a 'Vegetarian Christmas' this year
Words: Sam Geary
Following the announcement of their own Clapped Record Christmas Party at The Gallery in London on December 14, FEET have added to the season's festivities with new track, 'Vegetarian Christmas', a jangly ode to Linda McCartney and “alternatives to meat”.
“’Vegetarian Christmas’ is about the wholesome alternative,” explain the band. “Teach, don't preach is the song's philosophy. We're presenting the option and asking what's on your plate this Christmas? Food and tradition is closely linked in this country and we believe it should not reflect the past without working towards a more positive future. Nothing's a tradition until it starts. Why not make vegetarianism part of yours this Christmas”.
In support of the release, FEET will be taking to central London tomorrow (December 10) in a festive themed food truck, offering members of the public vegetarian tinned goods via a FEET tombola. The band will also be holding a mistletoe competition with all funds being donated to charity. Watch their socials for latest updates.
