Cork band The Grey Merchant head up to the release of forthcoming album 'The Claude Glass', due for release February 2020 on Demeanour Records, with lead cut, 'Blood Book'.
Artfully encompassing elements of rock, post-punk and grunge, the track - released last week - is the first new material from the five-piece since their 2017 debut album, 'Avenue De Rennes'.
Mixed by Ciarán O Shea (Cyclefly, Bush) at Whitewell Studios Berlin, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios with Alex Wharton (Pixies, My Bloody Valentine), 'Blood Book' sees the band explore new territory. Aside from the former three-piece acquiring two new members and expanding their sound to encompass synths, sequencers and the moreish baritone vocal of Fergal Flannery,
