Squirrel Flower, aka Ella O’Connor Williams, heads up to the release of her debut album, 'I Was Born Swimming', on January 31, 2020, with the drop of outstanding new track, 'Headlights'.
The softly stirring number of poignant introspection is taken from the 12-track full-length which was produced by Gabe Wax at The Rare Book Room Studio in New York City.
”‘Headlights’ takes place in a moment of solitary reflection; a glance back and a glance forward,” says Williams. “I wrote it on tour driving through the pioneer valley in Massachusetts in some heavy fog. Suddenly I was aware of the space the car was plummeting through, both physical and temporal.”
