Coach Party 'Breakdown' on second single
Words: Sam Geary
Last heard at the back end of 2019 making their debut with ‘Oh, Lola’, Isle of Wight four-piece, Coach Party really get the party started with new offering 'Breakdown', available now via Chess Club Records.
Produced by the band’s Guy Page, it again harnesses their playful garage-pop style, and pummelled energy of abundant riffs, and catchy melodies.
Vocalist/bassist Jess Eastwood describes the lyrics as about “when love attacks the brain. It’s supposed to be great, and sometimes it is, but amongst all the good vibes you indirectly feed your jealousy, anger, fear, and keep adding to your own problems and insecurities until you literally break down, which at best just resets your emotions and starts the destructive cycle once again.”
Tune in here.
