The Lottery Winners release video for latest single ‘21’
Directed by Shaolin Pete, The Lottery Winners have released the video for their latest single ‘21’.
Taken from their self-titled debut album which is due for release on March 13 via Modern Sky UK, ‘21’ is emblazoned with anthemic guitar lines and the band’s trademark indie sound.
The visuals encapsulate the song’s meaning, with the band bringing in elderly counterparts of themselves to star in the clip.
“Filming was fun, my Grandad played me; he’s one of my heroes and I love hanging with him," says vocalist Thom Rylance. "It was important that we got the tone for this video right. It’s a celebration, not a mockery. Everybody’s fear is growing old, losing the currency of youth, but in reality you can be rich with youth regardless of your age. It’s all in your head."
