Having just been out on the road supporting Lauran Hibberd on her regional tour, and ahead of next month's hometown gig with The Jesus and Mary Chain, East Kilbride's hotly tipped Spyres will no doubt be dropping this new single into their set
Produced by Chris Marshall (Gerry Cinnamon, The Dunts, Rascalton) and Johnny Madden (of Baby Strange), 'Fake ID’ is out now on new Glasgow label 7 West Music.
The band's second punchy, guitar-driven pop-rock single sees them address being under 18 and trying to blag getting into cars and clubs with fake ID.
“'Fake ID' is all about the days you went out and tried to get away with someone else’s ID and getting knocked back," explains singer Emily Downie. "We’ve all been there. I think a lot of people can really relate to it.”
It's another winner from the quartet, after last summer's debut, 'Otherside'.
