It's 'Dark Times' for The Hunna on new release
Words: Ellie Ward
Released last Friday. London-based four-piece The Hunna have dropped a new single 'Dark Times', lifted from their forthcoming third album 'I’d Rather Die Than Let You In', to be released on October 2, after being put back due to the current coronavirus situation.
After last year espousing how they wanted to '(I) Get High To Forget', 'Dark Times' is an aptly titled, thumping, hard-hitting punch that the band say "is about feeling overwhelmed with the dark and evil acts that we hear about, and experience all over the world.
"It's about feeling bewildered and helpless in these moments, ever more so now in these current times facing a force we never have before, having to self-isolate without connection to family and loved ones, and although feeling alone or helpless, finding power and resilience together as the world unites to survive and wait for the light that will come."
Catch the band this Friday for an online BrewDog’s Blank Holiday edition with music from Swim Deep too, from 6pm. Register here.
