Following the recent bedroom-pop offering 'S.A.D', 18-year-old rising artist Oscar Welsh from Saxmundham in Suffolk, is back with a new dreamy mix of summer-pop with 'Sixteen'.
A nostalgic reflection on teen unrequited love, 'Sixteen' fuses a laid back R&B touch of woozy, lo-fi beats and smoothly delivered vocals, and ia another track which will feature on his debut EP ‘Vernal’, due later this year.
"‘Sixteen’ is a song about a tense relationship which lasted from early teens to adulthood," he shares. "I guess it just illustrates the frustration an individual has when an admirer doesn’t know when to stop chasing."
