Swedish trio Spunsugar follow their fuzzy shoegaze entrance last year with their 'Mouth Full of You' EP, with the darker edged 'Happier Happyless', out now on Adrian Recordings.
The track - the first off their debut album, due out later this year - which they describe as “a sour and sweet song, tackling subjects of pining, happiness and revenge,” sees the Malmo-based band veer in a new direction, opting more towards a stronger, electronic sound that tops the shoegaze base, with synths pulsating behind Elin Ramsted’s airy vocals.
