London alt-rock trio BERRIES have just announced their signing to Xtra Mile Recordings. After consistently hitting the high notes musically - and was one the first bands that I officially wrote about for Little Indie back in 2017 during London's Camden Rocks festival.
Holly, Lauren and Lucie manage to combine riff-driven rock songs with frenetic beats, and turn them effortlessly into something original and exciting.
Label founder Charlie Caplowe said: "Everyone at Xtra Mile is incredibly excited about our new signing BERRIES, They feel like a perfect fit for the label and we can’t wait to get new music out there ahead of a debut album in 2021."
Expect to be hearing some fresh fruit from BERRIES when new single ‘Copy’ drops on January 22, 2021. Described as four minutes of "snaking guitar licks, frenetic percussion and an ever-present undercurrent of fuzz-heavy melody", it sounds like a big step forward for the three and an exciting new chapter in their career.
