It's all about 'You&I' for Dublin's milk.

Words by Paul Dawson

Dublin-based alt-popsters milk. have just unveiled latest single, 'You&I'.

The layered track is the follow-up to last year's I Hate The Way You’re Looking At Me (Lately)’ and debut EP ‘1’, and delivers another gem that allows for its four minutes of Mark McKenna's fuzzy and intimate vocals to shine through with the confessional lyrics which exposes a more vulnerable side of the band,

"We wanted to write a song about long-distance relationships - relationships without sex," say the band. "'You&I' felt like the most human way to approach the subject, while the instrumental is 'sexy' the lyrics are very honest and almost pathetic at times."

'You&I' is an effortless and inviting love song that shows milk. clearly know what they’re doing, and are pulling it off with grace.
