Brooklyn's Young Unknowns Head To London And Rev Up A Cars Cover
Young Unknowns, the Brooklyn quartet fronted by lyricist Meredith Meyer, fast their seat belts for a few one-off dates in the UK next week as they unveil their updated version of The Cars classic 'Drive'.
As yet still largely 'unknown', Young Unknowns released their debut EP 'You Are A Young Unknown' last October, bringing Meyer's sultry vocals and their 90s influenced indie synth rock style to notice. Produced by Bill Racine (Rogue Wave, Mates of State, Flaming Lips), they exhibited a quietly smouldering intent that was enough to shake bloggers from their slumbers.
The band play London's Buffalo Bar (Feb 5), Cornershop (Feb 6) and Old Blue Last (Feb 8).
