New signings to the Club AC30 label (home to Exit Calm, Ringo Deathstarr amongst others) are the Oklahoman darkwave/extreme noise trio Depth & Current. They release their first offering on the label, a mini-album entitled 'Transient' on March 18.
The album consists of 8 songs, compressed into 14 minutes - so not only is it not going to take up too much of your time, but they won't give you the chance to be bored either. Canny lot, eh! 'Transient' will initially be available on 7" vinyl only.
Their sound is heavy electronic beats, loud jarring guitars, punishing bass, and dark, reverb-drenched vocals. You can try before you buy with a taster sampler 'You're Alive' below.
