East End Live 13.7.13 :: The Magnetic Mind

East End Live, the one-day festival of music happening this Saturday, is a chance to catch more than 60 artists withn a mile or two radius of each other within the space of a day.

To continue our look at just a few of the best of what's on offer, we catch The Magnetic Mind's bass player Paul Milne for a quick two shortfire questions.

Description: London five-piece purveyors of psych garage.

Looking forward to playing East End Live?

We're very excited to be playing the festival, it's a really terrific line-up and it's obvious that a fair bit of thought has gone into curating it. It's great to be playing on the same bill as the likes of the Monochrome Set, Charlie Boyer & the Voyeurs, Joseph Coward, and Love L.U.V. but we'll be sure to get around the other venues as much as possible too - we're particularly looking forward to seeing Neil's Children, Toy, Charles Hayward, and Purson.

A track to link to that you will be including in your set?

We'll be playing 'Maybe the Stars, Maybe the Sun' - which came out as a single last year, but apart from that it'll be all-new material.

The Magnetic Mind play Cargo at 7pm.
