Grass House Stream New Single

London-based Grass House are set to release their latest single, 'I Was A Streetlight', thru Marshall Teller Records on September 2.

Recorded at Monnow Valley Studios in Wales with producer Jim Anderson (Cold Specks, The Twilight Sad, 2:54), the new single is the follow-up to ‘And Now For The Wild’ - and a taste of what is to come on the band’s forthcoming debut album, ‘A Sun Full And Drowning’, which is set for release on October 28.

Formed in London last year, the Grass House line up of Liam Palmer, Steven Dove, Ross Hall and Nicholas Jones blend Cascading cinematic guitars with a hypnotic rhythm section to create their own self titled brand of 'Outsider Pop' to great effect. Their love of Eno, The Velvet Underground, Joe Meek and The Walkmen may all hold a slight influence on the band, but their sound is unique and very much stands alone right now.

Grass House, who recently played a successful festival show at East End Live, will play a handful of London shows over the next weeks and are set to appear at the Green Man Festival in August. More dates will be announced in the very near future.

Live Dates:

AUG 13 The Social, London

AUG 15 Green Man Festival

SEP 05 The Lexington, London
