The debut single 'The Rule' from Manchester's Shield Patterns, is out September 2 thru Gizeh Records.
Shield Patterns is the project of artist Claire Brentnall. Making her entrance late last year with the 'Undecided' demo, her delicate and ethereally fragile vocals in a minimalist setting, have fast placed Shield Patterns in the 'one to watch' category. Think Kate Bush crossed with London Grammar with a few added glitchy beats.
'The Rule' is backed with a remix of the same song by Mercury Award winners Alt-J.
