Mary Epworth's new single, 'September' - released this Monday on Hand Of Glory Records - complete with the video above, is her first recorded work since the 'Dream Life' album of last year.
The glitterbeat blaster ‘September’ is described by Epworth as being lyrically about "my childhood dread of going back to school, or adult dread of facing boring reality. 'Drown the job and drink the dream' could probably be my personal motto."
'September', backed with a harpsichord heavy cover of Tintern Abbey’s psych work ‘Beeside’, is limited to 300 copies on 7” single.
