Coves, the boy-girl duo - John Ridgard and Beck Wood - from Leamington Spa, follow up their cover last year of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Games', with new release 'Cast A Shadow'.
Coves have spent the last 18 months quietly acquiring critical acclaim and support from BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, 6Music’s Lauren Laverne nd XFM’s John Kennedy, amongst others. In September they signed with Nettwerk Records and in November they released ‘Beatings’, the first single to be taken from their 10-track debut album 'Soft Friday'.
Coves have toured with Echo and the Bunnymen, Dutch Uncles and Eugene McGuinness, had their track ‘No Ladder’ remixed by TOY,and played to a rammed and rapturous tent at Latitude 2013. They will be touring with Band of Skulls in March - details below.
